Isang malaking hamon para sa mga mag-aaral ng Camarines Norte na sumailalim sa pagsusulit upang makapasok sa scholarship ng PGCEAP sa ilalim ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa pamumuno ni Governor Ricarte "Dong" Padila at Vice Governor Joseph Ascutia. Ang nasabing qualifying examination ay kasalukuyang ginaganap na nagsimula kaninang ika-10 ng umaga sa SM City Daet Event Center. Inaasahang aabot sa sampung libo ang susubok na makapasa sa nasabing pagsusulit.

Fresh from her twin victories in prestigious regional pageants across Bicolandia, the Camarines Norte Provincial Tourism Operations Office proudly assisted our newly crowned Mutya ng Pili Festival 2023 and Miss Bicol Tourism 2023 Ms. Rhianne Macy Zapata of Daet, Camarines Norte during her courtesy visit to our respected leaders headed by Hon. Governor Dong Padilla, Vice Governor Engr. Joseph Villaverde Ascutia and Provincial Administrator Don Eduardo Silva Padilla. She also attended the Flag Ceremony of the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte this monday morning to personally thanked each and every Cam Norteño who have supported throughout her journey towards the crown. Ms. Zapata is also the reigning Miss Bicol University 2022 and Binibining Camarines Norte Turismo 2023 organized by the Provincial Tourism Office in conjunction with the recently concluded Bantayog Festival 2023 last April.

On June 19, 2023, the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte commemorates the 162nd Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal at the Rizal Monument in Daet, which was the first monument built to honor the national hero of the Philippines. This is an important event since Rizal is one of the most revered figures in Philippine history. He was a multifaceted intellectual and a political activist, best known for his political writings that inspired the Philippine revolution and ultimately led to his execution by the Spanish colonizers.
The celebration was led by Governor Ricarte "Dong" Padilla and Vice Governor Engr. Joseph V. Ascutia. The Armed Forces of the Philippines, as well as the Philippine National Police, were also present at the said event. Mr. Abel C. Icatlo, the Museum Curator gave his remarks and paid tribute to Rizal's life and legacy. The program ended with a wreath-laying ceremony initiated by government officials.

On June 21, 2023, Governor Ricarte "Dong" Padilla and Vice Governor Joseph Ascutia led the distribution of financial assistance along with Anica Padilla, Vice Mayor Kuatro Padilla, Lukad De Lima and the Community Affair Office (CAO) for the beneficiaries of the Provincial Government High School Educational Assistance Program (PGHSEAP) for grade 7 students in Jose Panganiban and Paracale.
A total of 1,537 grade 7 pupils from Jose Panganiban and Paracale received financial support from the Provincial Government. For students from low-income families, the PGHSEAP financial support can help to pay costs such as miscellaneous fees, textbooks, school supplies, transportation, and even examination fees, making education more accessible and affordable for them.
The program's goal is to motivate and aid deserving but underprivileged kids in obtaining a quality education for their development. The initiative seeks to provide students whose families lack consistent financial resources for their education. A grant of P2,000.00 is given to the beneficiary by the provincial government.

Ang Ika- 125 anibersayo ng kasarinlan ng Pilipinas ngayong Hunyo 12,2023 ay ang unang taon kung saan ipinagdiriwang natin ang araw ng kalayaan sa pamumuno ng ating gobernador Ricarte 'Dong' Padilla isa itong mahalang pangyayari na taon-taon nating ginugunita sa ating bansa bilang pag alala sa mga bayani at mga taong nag-alay o nagbuwis ng kanilang buhay para makamit natin ang kalayaan mula sa mga dayuhang mananakop noon. Ito rin ay tungkol sa pagpapakita sa ating mayamang kultura at kasaysayan bilang isang bansa.Ang araw ng Kasarinlan ay patunay na ang bawat pilipino ay magkakabigkis bilang isa para sa ating kalayaan.
Sa araw na ito ng kalayaan maraming Camnorteno ang nakiisa at nki celebra sa pagdiriwang na ito, patunay lamang na tayo ay nagkakaisa at may pagmamahal sa ating bansa, marapat lamang na patuloy natin itong gunitain at ipabatid sa mga kabataan. Mahalaga din ipaalam sa mga kabataan at bawat pilipino na mapangalagaan ang kapayapaan at seguridad ng ating teritoryo,kabuhayan,paggogobyerno.
Kilala din ang mga Camnorteno sa mga bayaning nakipaglaban sa kasarinlan ng bansa kaya naman marapat lamang na bigyan sila ng masidhing pagkilala at pagpupugay sa araw na ito ng kalayaan.Tunay nga na likas sa ating mga Pilipino ang pagpapakita ng pagmamahal sa bayan para sa nagkakaisang mamamayan at bansa.
